Wanting to know if someone can translate this to easier to understand words? lumbar L1-2?

Your lumbar vertebrae, or "small of your back" is made up of 5 vertebral bones; L1 - L5. I'm not a doctor and the language they use is pretty extensive but I'd say you basically have a mildly herniated disc at L1-L2 region. The vertebral foraman is a small hole where nerves travel through, basically out from your spine, through these foramen, and go laterally and wrap your back. You are most likely have pain in your lower back, more prominent on your left side, but not severe. Or, at least, intermittent pain. This swelling or herniation of the cartilage could press on the nerves, often called a "pinched nerve" and cause localized pain, or distal pain since these nerves travel out laterally toward your side. You may or may not even have muscle spasms ociated with this, from the left center of your back all the way to your left side. Any of this ring true??
