Why do online blackjack have to use mostly 6 decks?

As far as I guess online casinos have more decks because of the reason to stop card counting upto some extent. As being online they can't see you. They can't find out whether you are counting cards or not. So to avoid card counting they just increase the number of decks, as more the number of decks more will the difficulty in card counting.
