Did Michael Jordan dominate his peers in his era as much as Wilt Chamberlain?

Judgeing the best player of all time is usually reserved to how well they played compared to their peers during their era. Michael Jordan didnt really dominate talent wise. There were many other players like Barkley, Pippen, Ewing, Kareem, Magic, Bird who did just as well as Michael Jordan. Wilt Chamberlain is really the only one who completely destroyed his peers.
