Help with getting rid of paci's!!?

My almost 3 year old is still using Pacifiers. I am trying anything I can to make her get rid of them. But nothing is working. I try and distract her when she is asking for one, but she will just scream and cry for one. I understand that I am not doing as well as I should be cause I hate making her cry. I do spoil her a bit. I have tried asking her to give them away to another little baby, but nope. Any suggestions?
